His lyric and musical talent are ever present. Well, I love Neil Diamond and everything he does. Sure we all love Sweet Caroline, but the man is much deeper than that. When first listening to the recordings, I was a little bit disappointed. After listening to it several times, I can truly say I enjoyed it. Keep writing Neil. Love ya.
i saw neil on letterman or leno and he played a song of the cd i really liked so i bought it and it's got some really good songs. i love his voice. the music is really mellow.
If you like Neil Diamond you will find this a refreshing and soothing CD. Sit back at the end of the day, beer or wine in hand and listen to Neil Diamond soothe away all the rough spots of the day. Pleasant and easy listening. Diamond quality.
I gave this to my wife as a gift after we just saw Neil Diamond in concert. She likes his new album, but has not seen the DVD yet.
for the critics- check out anything up thru the late 70's- it's all on youtube- the guy seriously rocks- and this coming from a HUGE dylanhead. early 70's is still my favorite era, but this CD rocks- excellent stripped down arrangements that let the well crafted songs sail. i feel bad for those that don't get you, neil- you let it fly from the beginning, and you still got it. he was just as much a rebellious rocker as any (and still is)- he told us from the start "GIRL WE DO WHATEVER WE WANT TO"- and he meant it. rock on neil, we need ya
